DROP THOSE L-B’S!

Fad diets are tempting, as they promise you a quick drop in your weight, but what most people don’t consider are the long term effects of fad-dieting. Newsflash: There AREN’T any! You’ll gain those pounds back faster than you can snap your fingers and order that delicious sounding apple fritter off the menu!

The most important tips for consistent weight loss includes: EXERCISE AND EVEN PORTIONS!

All you exercise hating lazy bones need not roll your eyes though! 30 minutes of cardio a day does the trick and keeps that metabolism moving! PS- All “cardio” means for you is getting and keeping that heart rate up for half an hour, and it can be as entertaining as getting down and dancing to some fast paced music (in the privacy of your own room, of course!) or monotonous as a run on the treadmill. Whatever your speed, 30 a day is all you need!

As far as even portions are concerned, most people are under the impression that cutting out their favorite greasy and/or fattening foods comes with the territory of being on a diet. Newsflash #2! You can eat WHATEVER YOU WANT. I repeat, WHATEVER YOU WANT, so long as you can control how much of it you eat. Your metabolism actually SPEEDS UP when it gets a little of everything off that cheesy 3rd grade nutrition pyramid, so do NOT deprive yourself of a piece of chocolate or a spoonful (or two!) of ice cream! Balance is key.

You might not slim-down-Sally by the week’s end, but you WILL see that difference in tone AND inches progressively.

My personal tips that have worked in the past?

Drink hot coffee when you’re a teeny bit hungry. Exercise when you’re a teeny bit hungry. If you’re a night time snacker, snack on a tablespoon of peanut butter. Your hunger pain should vanish.

Remember – dieting is NOT easy. You work hard for what you want, so why should dieting be any different? Be the change you want to see! ;)

don’t be afraid to flaunt!

f you steven cojacaru [i won't even bother to look up the correct spelling of your name]

really, who are you to give anyone fashion advice. don’t you at least have to be, good looking to do that??? ugh.

try mixing and matching articles of clothing that you’d never find paired together… ever. and you will be surprisingly.. impressed. style is not about the trends. it’s not about what’s in or what’s hot this season. style is how people perceive you. you want to be a trend setter, not a trend follower. wear whatever the f makes you happy. wear whatever the f is flattering to your body. wear what you wanna wear - wear what you f ing feel comfortable in.

and if you happen to turn up in the WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?!?!?!? KIFGJJKOMGZ style section of some magazine, then good for you.

DAMN RIGHT STEVEN COPJASGAJDSCARU, I WASN’T THINKING!

boys with pink cellies

wow.  no but like, in a great way.

pink is so not a girl color anymore, people.

walking down lexington ave today [no no, NOT chelsea.. what!?] i saw 3 [count em!] men donning HOT PINK CELL PHONES. you go, boys! as if they weren’t hot enough in their cut offs, dirtied up jeans [ow OOOOW] and scruffy bearded faces.

or maybe they were just using their girlfriend’s cell phones? ugh. let’s not think about that.

whatever. totally hot and confident.
